What we collect, what it is used for, how long we keep it, and your rights.

Introduction

Aços Indestrutíveis, Lda, trading as Metal Rainha, respects the privacy of everyone who visits this site and handles personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This policy explains what we collect, why, for how long, and what your rights are.

Data collected

We collect only what you send us voluntarily:

  • Quote form: name, phone, email, the type of work you need and your description of the project.
  • Anti-spam technical code: your IP address is converted into an irreversible code that cannot be turned back into the original IP.

We do not collect navigation data. This site does not record your browser, operating system, pages visited or visit history, and uses no traffic analytics of any kind.

Purposes and retention

  • To answer your quote request and follow it up. We keep the message for as long as that contact lasts and, if it leads to work, for the legal retention period applicable to commercial records.
  • To block automated submissions: the technical code above is kept for two hours and then deleted automatically.

Your data is never used for marketing, never sold, and never feeds any commercial profile.

Legal basis

  • Steps taken at your request prior to a contract — GDPR Article 6(1)(b): handling your quote request.
  • Legitimate interest — GDPR Article 6(1)(f): protecting the form against abusive and automated use.

Data sharing

We do not sell or hand over your data. Within the company it is seen only by whoever needs to answer your request. There are just two technical parties involved:

  • Our hosting and email provider, which transports and stores the message as a processor, bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • The competent authorities, where required by law or court order.

Cookies and local storage

This site uses no advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. It stores a single preference in your own browser — your chosen language — which is never sent to us and which you can clear at any time in your browser settings.

The map on the contact page does not load automatically. Only after you tap “View map” is a connection made to Google; until then none of your data reaches any third party.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and applies a strict content security policy. Quote requests are delivered by email and are not stored in any public database. The form validates and limits what it accepts on the server, not only in the browser.

Your rights

As the data subject, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your personal data.
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure of your data.
  • Right to restriction of processing.
  • Right to data portability.
  • Right to object to processing.
